Sweet Pea and I picked a few pounds of strawberries and I was able to come home and go wild with strawberry madness! I made one of my family's favorites, Strawberry Jam, I hulled about a pound and froze them for smoothies and of course made some Strawberry-Cinnamon Muffins (post coming soon).
One of my favorite things to do with Strawberry Jam is to make my own Strawberry Yogurt. It's super easy! All I do is mix 1/2 cup plain, fat-free Greek yogurt with 1 teaspoon of Strawberry Jam. Mix and you'll be jammin' all day long with all of the extra protein from the Greek yogurt! The great thing about this snack is that it's much better for you than store bought yogurts that have added ingredients, preservatives, artificial flavors and more. Thankfully, my husband isn't a Greek yogurt fan, so I don't have to share!
